The weather may not be so hot but the market sure is!
With record low levels of inventory and record highs of activity, most homes are selling with multiple offers within 10 days and many going for significantly above the asking price.
Alameda County posted a 26.7% increase in pending sales in March over March 2011 (and a decrease in inventory of 41.8%!)
Oakland's pending activity was up 32.2% in March from March 2011.
Castro Valley
posted a 30.4% increase in pending sales in March over March 2011,
61 houses came on the market in March and 60 went into contract?!
